Heliophila juncea can be a delight to the hiker suddenly encountering flowering of these willowy plants up a Western Cape mountain.

Flower size varies dramatically in the Heliophila genus. H. juncea has the largest petals in the Brassicaceae family, known for its mustards, cabbages, and a multitude of other small-flowering species.

Check the Heliophila Album under Genera on this Site for more (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; iNaturalist; Wikipedia; https://www.fernkloof.org.za).
