The inflorescence of Disa woodii is a cylindrical, erect, stem-tip spike. The flowers are numerous, densely arranged. The spike varies in length around 16 cm.
Bloomtime is spring, sometimes also in winter, or starting late autumn and continuing until early summer (Manning, 2009; Pooley, 1998; Van Wyk and Malan, 1997; iNaturalist; https://orchidspecies.com/disawoodii.htm).
