The stout, yellow marginal teeth on upper Aloe perfoliata leaf margins mostly appear deltoid or triangular. They are from 4 mm to 6 mm long. Some of their tips have darkened, the teeth or prickles firm and sharp.
These teeth are sometimes whiter on certain leaf parts or yellower to browner as they age. Quite evenly spaced, apart from a few unusually wide gaps like those seen in the teeth of six-year-old children. The lower keel teeth in picture are much smaller than the rest (Van Wyk and Smith, 2003; Reynolds, 1974; Jeppe, 1969; iNaturalist).
