The three oblong style branches diverge from the Moraea huttonii flower centre over the three outer tepals flaunting nectar guides. Angled out and more erect than the tepals but shorter by more than half, the style branch tips are forked. On this flower the pair of acutely pointed, tiny tips of the style branches fold in together as if bashful. Style branch yellow is duller than that of the tepals and centrally lined in pale green.

The style branches of this species mostly have dark brown to purple blotches, absent here (Manning, 2009; Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist).
