Malephora lutea defining yellow

Malephora lutea defining yellow
Author: Ivan Lätti

When flowering so liberally after rain, Malephora lutea can be the desire or envy of many a gardener.

Honouring the sun with its own set of nano-suns looking back in the middle of bright days, these vygies bestow a buoyancy on the countryside. It aids the spirit in defying gravity, or at least removes any inkling of a darker mood.

Remember on dull, drought days that the yellow does return. And be patient.
