    Crassula pyramidalis purple tips

    Crassula pyramidalis purple tips
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Louis Jordaan

This well-branched Crassula pyramidalis plant is purply red only at its stem-tips. Lower down the stems vary their colouring among shades of olive-green to orange-brown. Near the base the leaves have dried but persist, not showing any bare stem parts.

These plants may branch high or low and remain erect or become decumbent (Frandsen, 2017; Smith, et al, 2017; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Moriarty, 1997; iNaturalist).
