Crassula pyramidalis thin stems, broad petals

Crassula pyramidalis thin stems, broad petals
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Louis Jordaan

These thin, erect Crassula pyramidalis stems bearing broader petalled white flowers were seen on the Minwater farm near Oudtshoorn.

The lateral branches that arrived later are red-leaved, whereas the main stems are green near their tips. A few additional shades have appeared on the older leaves lower down (Frandsen, 2017; Smith, et al, 2017; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Moriarty, 1997; iNaturalist).
