Ornithoglossum vulgare buds up top

The long Ornithoglossum vulgare pedicels bend down close to their flowers, allowing them to assume nodding positions away from the central axis.

The buds at the top of the raceme are ovoid or egg-shaped, conspicuous seams visible where the grey outsides of the tepals meet.

There is dull golden pollen on the upper sides of the curved oblong anthers (Van Rooyen and Van Rooyen, 2019; iNaturalist).
