Hermannia amabilis

Hermannia amabilis
Author: Ivan Lätti
Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

Hermannia amabilis is an erect subshrub reaching about 75 cm in height. This is not a South African species, a Namibian one. It is found in a coastal strip in the northern part of that country where the photo was taken.

The habitat is primarily desert or dry shrubland (Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iNaturalist; https://powo.science.kew.org; https://commons.wikimedia.org; http://www.malvaceae.info).
