Eulophia coddii leaves

Eulophia coddii leaves
Author: Ivan Lätti
Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

The leaves of Eulophia coddii are narrow, long and erect, somewhat grass-like. There are about three to six leaves growing from the base, while a smaller stem-leaf is also present in picture, over halfway up the stem.

This is one of the Eulophia species bearing flowers concurrently with the leaves. The plant is sometimes commonly called the sourveld harlequin (iNaturalist).
