The petals of the Zygophyllum flexuosum flower spread, here obovate and concave, ending in broad, toothed tips. The red markings low on the spreading petal parts are variable in size and shape; the petal colour variable in shade of yellow.

At least eight stamens, yellow on filaments as well as anthers, are erect over the flower centre with a style in their midst. Parts of the short calyx is visible in the gaps between the clawed petal bases (Manning, 2009; Manning and Goldblatt, 1996; iNaturalist).
