    Protea mundii tall bushes

    Protea mundii tall bushes
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

Protea mundii bushes sometimes tower over surrounding vegetation in this water rich valley to the south of the Langkloof where fynbos predominates.

Here probably around 5 m, bushes of this Protea can become much taller when pushed by competition in lush conditions, also in forests (Venter, 2012; Manning, 2007; Rebelo, 1995; Rourke, 1980; iNaturalist).
