Euryops tagetoides leaves

The fairly rigid leaves of Euryops tagetoides are about cylindrical and erect, branching irregularly into thinner lobes and ending in pointed tips.

The whitish, matted leaf coverings are variable, reducing to green where the indumentum thins to almost disappearing (glabrescent). Midveins are sometimes visible. The somewhat leathery leaves vary much in length, as do the lobes and the intervals between lobes.

The coverings on lower, young peduncle parts in picture of flowerheads unseen are coarser and uneven (Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; http://www.worldfloraonline.org).
