Euryops rehmannii few meandering branches

Euryops rehmannii few meandering branches
Author: Ivan Lätti
Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

This sparse, wispy Euryops rehmannii shrub has much leafless stem to show, covered in fairly smooth, pale grey bark. The woody branches are quite rigid, given how thin they are and far from straight although so little-branched.

Only upper stem parts have short green sections where the narrow, ascending leaves appear like bottle-brushes, here mostly tipped with yellow inflorescences in September at Kagga Kamma (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; iNaturalist).
