Geissorhiza erosa dark flower colour

The darker, red purple to maroon flowers of Geissorhiza erosa are as the other colours erect cups, the six round-tipped tepals curving in slightly. The flowers are just far enough spaced on the zigzagging stem to prevent the open flowers from squashing each outer.

Something may have eaten the leaves of the plant in picture, or they are only growing now. There may also be cataphylls present. They are small, adapted scale leaves distinct from the normal leaves (Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; https://hortflora.rbg.vic.gov.au; https://www.pacificbulbsociety.org).
