The peduncle or flower stalk of the Anemone vesicatoria inflorescence is sturdy and erect, about 15 cm long, thicker than the pedicels of the flowers. Flowering takes the form of umbels, or umbels within umbels.
The rate of floral development and to fruition in the inflorescence is uneven in picture (Manning, 2007; Gledhill, 1981; Bean and Johns, 2005; iNaturalist).
