Hermannia pulverata leaves are often seen lower on the branches, few present higher up.

The leaves have long petioles and are incised deeply into narrow lobes, some with small side-lobes that are somewhat wedge-shaped. The blades are silvery grey-green mainly from their hairy coverings. The leaves become about 2,5 cm long.

There are ovate to lanceolate stipules beside the petiole bases (Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; JSTOR).
