Usually pink, the petals of Pelargonium patulum may also be nearly white as seen in the photo. The purplish red markings are mainly restricted to the two upper (posterior) petals, but the plant also has tiny basal lines upon the three lower (anterior) petals. The angular margins of the blue-green leaves appear thick and fleshy (Manning, 2007; iNaturalist; iSpot).
